W. A. Mozart airport sits on the western edge of the city and the walk through the terminal is short, so a flight from Salzburg needs less of a head start than one from Munich. We still build in a buffer, because the run in is across country.

Why not the train?
From the Innviertel to Salzburg by public transport almost always means changing, and that is no fun early in the morning with suitcases. With five people our fixed price is the cheaper sum anyway — €32 each, from your door to the terminal.
